Obituary

Nancy Elizabeth Fancher Reinhart Copeland was born March 31st, 1852;

died at the home of her son, Chancy Reinhart, in Jefferson City, March

18, 1938; age 85 years, 11 months and 10 days.

She was married to Asbury Reinhart. To this union were born 7

children, 6 boys and one girl—Chancy Reinhart of Jefferson City,

Henry Reinhart of Dallas, Texas, Sylvester Reinhart of Brumley, Mrs.

W.S. Luttrell of Watkins, and William Reinhart of Miami, Okla. Those are

all living. Amanuel and Sherman Reinhart preceded her in death. Her

husband also preceded her in death.

She was united again in marriage to William Jasper Copeland, who also

preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her going her children and 27 grandchildren, 11

great-grandchildren and a large number of other relatives and many

friends.

She first united with the Baptist church somewhere around Ulman and the

writer of this obituary thinks that she later united with the Church of

Christ at Mt. Union, however this may be wrong, but that is as my memory

serves me.

Our hearts were sad, but we were not sorrowing as those who have no

hipe for Paul says if we believe that Jesus died and arose again, evenso

also them who sleep with Jesus will God bring with him when He comes for

the Lord himself shall descend from heaven and all the holy angels with

Him, and we who are alive and remain shall not prevent them who are

asleep, but shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in

the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one

another with these words.

Farewell, mother; how we loved you,

How we will miss you in our home.

But we never will forget you

While in this world we are left to roam.

By a granddaughter, Wilma Allee.
