Tree and Raisin Salad
1 Large head of broccoli
12 strips of bacon—cooked, then broken up into little pieces
½ cup raisins (black or golden)
¼ cup chopped red onion
1 cup Hellmans mayonnaise
½ cup sugar
2 tbs. Vinegar (taste, if you like more sour, add 10 drops more—do not add another full tablespoon!)
Blend together, let stand in the refrigerator several hours—best if overnight.
In the morning, stir it up, and then a couple more times throughout the day, and then, just before serving. This recipe can be doubled or tripled, or more.
